Welland Canal

The Welland Canal is a ship canal in Canada that extends 42 km (26 mi) from Port Weller, Ontario, on Lake Ontario, to Port Colborne, Ontario, on Lake Erie. As a part of the St. Lawrence Seaway, this canal enables ships to ascend and descend the Niagara Escarpment and to bypass Niagara Falls.

About The Lifetime Learning Centre


The Lifetime Learning Centre offers two types of programs: The Business & Technology Unit & The Academic Learning Courses Unit.
The Business & Technology Unit offers credit courses in a structured classroom setting with daily instruction from 8:30 a.m. until 12:15 p.m., concentrating on computer training and computer software.

The Academic Learning Courses Unit offers credit courses in various subject areas, at different levels, in a more informal classroom setting where students complete the required course hours within a more flexible, individualized schedule between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
